I finally did it… I finally convinced myself to buy a 12 string Martin. But I have no time to record now! So, below is a sample that I recorded back in ’04 while in Montana. This is my crazy rendition of Little Martha... it should sound nothing like the Allman Brothers' version. This sample was created with overlapping tracks in Acid Pro 4.0 (recording software), and recorded with my former 12 string Takamine guitar... I still haven't gone into the altered tuning required for this song with the Martin - but perhaps I'll give this a try over winter break.
